Krychowiak ready for united

GRZEGORZ Krychowiak is relishing Albion’s chance to claim a breakthrough victory over Manchester United at The Hawthorns on Sunday.

The Polish international was restored to the starting XI for last night’s assured performance in claiming a point against Liverpool at Anfield.
Now Grzegorz is hoping he has done enough to keep his place and can finally taste the victory in a Baggies shirt which has eluded him since his season-long loan from Paris St Germain.

“It was a difficult game but most important was the point,” said Grzegorz.

“If you want to have a good result against such difficult opponents you have to run and fight and work for 90 minutes.

“All the team did and we can be proud. I couldn’t play 90 minutes because this was my first game in three weeks and it was a little but hard physically.

“But now we have another big game against Manchester (United). Now we have to start scoring again. It’s a big game but we are capable of a win.”

Grzegorz was also appreciative of the supporters who braved a bitter night on Merseyside and endless motorway delays en route to back the Baggies all the way to the finishing line.

“I would like to thank the fans because they are always with us. They support us and it is easy for us to play in front of them.”
