Leko and Field on Young Lions duty

Full list of Albion Academy players in international action

JONATHAN Leko has recovered from the injury which forced him to limp out of Sunday's Premier League clash against Middlesbrough to join up with England's Under-18s.

The young Baggies star faces games against Italy on Thursday, at Fleetwood Town's Highbury Stadium, and then against Israel on Monday, September 5, at Morecambe's Globe Arena.

Albion director of performance Dr Mark Gillett said: “Jonathan went over on his ankle but there was no swelling overnight and we have given him the all-clear to report to England."

Meanwhile Sam Field, fresh from a highly-acclaimed full Premier League debut on Sunday, has England Under-19s duty and an attractive clash at Telford on Thursday against Holland before taking a trip to Brussels on Sunday to face Belgium.
