The Baggies and the Blues may have had contrasting fortunes so far this season, but it was impossible to tell which side was fighting it out at the top of the table when the two met at Stamford Bridge earlier in the campaign.
Albion dominated large portions of the game to come from a goal behind to lead 2-1.
But for a debatable last-gasp penalty, the Baggies would have come away with a deserved three points and extended their incredibly impressive run against Chelsea.
Jose Mourinho's team have won one of their last four clashes with the Baggies, with Albion so nearly making it three wins from four back in November.
Both victories have come at The Hawthorns in the last two seasons, with Chelsea having failed to pick up a point at B71 since April 2011.
The Blues are in fine form at present and have not slipped up on the road since December's 3-2 defeat at Stoke.

Pepe Mel is yet to taste defeat at home since taking charge of the Baggies and will not be fazed by the prospect of playing the three-time Premier League champions.
At Crystal Palace last weekend, Mel introduced new signing Thievy Bifouma, who made an instant impact on the game, scoring within 36 seconds of entering the fray.
Having netted at one of the best minutes-per-goal rates in La Liga with Espanyol this season before joining Albion (averaging a goal every 124 minutes), Thievy now has the best scoring rate in England's top flight and he will be hoping to improve that record against Chelsea.
