Ideye and Varela start against Villa

Two changes from draw at Hull last weekend

BROWN Ideye and Silvestre Varela have both been handed starts in today’s derby clash at home to Villa (3pm ko).

Club-record signing Ideye last started in the Barclays Premier League exactly three months ago to the day, the home defeat against Everton.

The striker is joined in Albion’s attacking ranks by Portugal international Varela, who is handed his full league debut at The Hawthorns following some impressive substitute appearances.

It represents two changes from last Saturday’s goalless draw at Hull - Youssouf Mulumbu named on the bench while Victor Anichebe misses out due to injury.
