Fans reminded of great deals on offer as BBC launches annual survey
AN adult and under-17 can get into every Albion home game for less than £24.
The club are reminding fans about the great value ticket deals on offer at The Hawthorns as the BBC today releases its annual Price of Football survey.
The Baggies froze both season ticket and matchday prices across the board for the 2013/14 campaign and has also slashed concourse catering prices.
Albion recorded their best season ticket sales in four years last term and current sales are at the same level as those of 12 months ago.
For the second campaign running, adult prices started at only £349, under-17s at £99, under-21s/students at £199 and seniors at £269. These prices applied to all seats in the Birmingham Road End and Smethwick End – meaning adults pay £18.36 per game and under-17s £5.21.
The club announced big reductions to season ticket prices in 2012, and also revamped their pricing structure, to make Hawthorns matches more accessible to the next generation of supporters. That structure remains in place this season and the club continues to offer flexible payment options and does not charge a booking fee (excluding season tickets bought via direct debit).
Chief executive Mark Jenkins said: “The tough economic climate and making games as accessible as possible to the next generation of supporters remained uppermost in our minds when we decided on this season’s ticket pricing structure.
“We’ll also be running various offers at selective matches during this season with a view to attracting more families and younger supporters.”

With the club also freezing match ticket prices, admission for ten of the club's 19 home league matches is only £25 adults and £10 under-17s.
The Albion Foundation, the club’s charitable arm, also offers matchday packages to schools and community clubs. Participants on the Foundation’s various educational and sporting programmes have their achievements rewarded with complimentary tickets.
The club are also offering big savings on matchday food and beverages this season after bringing concourse catering in-house.
A pint of Carlsberg is 30p cheaper than last season while a bottle of Pepsi has been reduced by 20p – despite increasing from 500ml to 600ml.
Supporters are benefiting from a 30p saving on all hot drinks while Pennine bottled water has been slashed from £2.20 to £1.50 – more than 30 per cent cheaper.
