The Baggies have lost only one of their last ten meetings with Rangers – winning six and drawing three.
The two sides have met twice before in the FA Cup with both sides claiming one victory apiece. Rangers overcame the Baggies 1-0 in the 1982 semi-final at Highbury. Albion recorded a 3-2 third-round triumph over QPR in January, 1983 thanks to a Gary Owen brace and a Peter Eastoe strike.
The Baggies have won this competition on five occasions (1888, 1892, 1931, 1954, 1968).
The two sides did not meet in any competition until Saturday, November 6, 1948 when Jack Smith’s side overcame The R’s 2-0 at Loftus Road – some 70 years after Albion were founded in 1878 and 66 years after QPR were established.

The hosts look set to be without Junior Hoilett after the Canadian lasted just 15 minutes at Stamford Bridge before limping off with injury. Ji-Sung Park made a return off the bench in midweek and could earn a recall along with DJ Campbell after the striker returned this week from his loan spell at Ipswich Town. Jose Bosingwa (back) has missed QPR’s last five games with a back injury, while Andrew Johnson (knee) and Bobby Zamora (hip) remain long-term absentees.

Mark Clattenburg oversees tomorrow's game. The Tyne and Wear official refereed Albion’s 2-1 home defeat by Manchester City in October. Clattenburg has dished out 53 yellow and five red cards in 16 games this term. The last time he oversaw the Baggies in the FA Cup was their 5-1 quarter-final win at Bristol Rovers in 2008.
