Club advise fans about Junction 2 works
SUPPORTERS attending Tuesday night’s Capital One Cup clash with Newport County AFC (ko 8pm) are advised there will be no access from or to the M5 at Junction 2 in both directions from 8pm onwards.
The motorway will also be reduced to two lanes.
Junctions 1 and 3 will be unaffected but will form part of the planned diversion routes for traffic not able to exit the M5 at Junction 2.
The closure will enable the Highways Agency to carry out improvement work to the slip roads and traffic lights at the junction’s island.
