Gareth McAuley netted in the second minute of stoppage time to earn Albion a more-than-deserved point the last time the Baggies played at Craven Cottage.
Steve Sidwell’s first-half strike had appeared to sentence the Throstles to a harsh defeat on the banks of the Thames, but McAuley headed home Chris Brunt’s corner in added time to salvage a point for Albion.
