Albion Under-23s advanced to the second round of the Birmingham Senior Cup with a penalty shootout triumph over Redditch United.
The young Baggies were ahead at half-time thanks to Zak Brown’s strike but Louis Monaghan hauled the home side level just before the hour mark.
It stayed 1-1 at the TRICO Stadium after 90 minutes so, with no extra-time, the tie came down to spot-kicks - Albion prevailing 4-3 to earn a place in the next stage of the competition.
