Bilić ready for form-table showdown

Slaven Bilić expects a tough challenge at Hull City on Saturday with two of the Sky Bet Championship’s in-form sides preparing to face-off at the KCOM Stadium.

The Baggies, who are unbeaten in five, will take on a Grant McCann team that have won their last three.

Slaven says it will be a good test for Albion while also reminding Saturday’s opponents of his own team’s threat.

“They’re in really good form and their last three results have been amazing for them,” said Bilić.

“Their momentum and team spirit is high. They probably can’t wait for the game, so we are expecting another tough test.

“It will be a big match - a test for us, but also for them.

“They’re in good form, they beat Forest away, Derby at home, and their last result against Fulham away, 3-0, it’s great for them.

“We are playing good, we are winning, and in every game you have your difficult moments, of course, but if you look at all 90 minutes - home or away - then we are basically the team that’s closer to winning a game than the opponent.

“We have good momentum, confidence, and good players, we also have a good plan A and B. It is working at the moment and we are a very fit team.”
