Albion Women Fylde game abandoned due to injury

Albion Women’s National League Northern Premier match with Fylde on Sunday was abandoned owing to a serious injury.

The Baggies were 1-0 in front when striker Jade Arber suffered a back injury on 58 minutes. Arber received extensive treatment on the scene before officials called the game off following a lengthy delay.

The Baggies were in front courtesy of Keeley Davies' stunning first-half goal at the time of the abandonment.
