Albion Blind to battle for European glory

Albion's blind football team are to take part in the Bučovice Blind Football Cup in Czech Republic.

The side head to Brno on Thursday, May 30 in preparation for the two-day tournament's kick-off on Saturday.

Paul Glover's men will be flying the flag for England in Czech Republic's second largest city as they face sides from Greece, Belgium, Germany, Austria and the Czech hosts.

"We are really excited as a team to be taking part in a European competition," said Paul, Albion Blind Head Coach.

"We have had success in our domestic game over the past couple of seasons so to test ourselves against foreign opposition is a challenge that we all can't wait to be a part of."
