Ahmed Hegazi helped Egypt cruise into the last 16 of the African Cup of Nations with one group game to spare.
The Pharaohs, hosts of the tournament, recorded a 2-0 win over DR Congo – their second consecutive victory and clean sheet.
The Baggies defender completed another 90 minutes as first-half goals from Ahmed Elmohamady and Mo Salah propelled Egypt to the top of Group A.
The result means Hegazi’s nation go into their final group game against Uganda on Sunday knowing their spot in the round of 16 is already secured.
