Andy Johnson has again signed for the Baggies and he’s all set for a second debut against Norwich City on Saturday.
But the ever-popular “AJ”, a promotion winner who took his place in our first Premier League adventure, won’t be charging around midfield this time.
We’ve signed him up to join our matchday commentary team giving Baggies fans the world over the chance to hear the views of a man who walked the walk and will now talk the talk.
AJ will be alongside WBA Radio commentator Gez Mulholland for the remaining 10 home games - starting with Saturday’s highly-anticipated clash with one of his former clubs.
“I’m really looking forward to it,” says Andy, a former team-mate of Head Coach Darren Moore.
“I think Darren has done brilliantly since he stepped into the role and we are all right behind him. I think we're in for an exciting second half of the season and I’ll be giving my views about the action.
“Darren and the boys have got themselves in position for a real challenge.”
