Moore ready for ‘stern’ Forest test

Darren Moore hopes Albion can bring their positive away form back to The Hawthorns for the visit of Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night (ko 8pm).

The Baggies won 1-0 at Stoke City on Saturday to extend their impressive run on the road to six victories in seven matches.

And the gaffer expects a “stern” test from a Martin O’Neill side that beat Brentford 2-1 at the weekend.

“We’re playing another good team in this division who are in the top half of the table,” admitted Moore. “The new management team has gone in there and they have an array of talented individual players, and what Martin is doing is bringing them together as a group.

“It will be another good game on Tuesday night at The Hawthorns. We’re playing against real stern opposition.

“It’s always good to play in front of your home fans. Hopefully they will be in good voice as they have been. I echo the same messages to the supporters; come and be heard. Be in full voice. There’s no place like The Hawthorns when it’s at full volume.

“We want to win all of our games. Every match we compete in we want to win. It’s a culture here at West Brom that we want to win every game.

“I want my players fully at it for every single game and be proud to be pulling on the West Brom jersey. We’ve seen that this season, we’ve seen some whole-hearted performances and we expect no different on Tuesday night.

“At home we like to think we’re a formidable team.”
