Battle of the Baggies

Albion favourites are gearing up for a showdown at The Hawthorns as ‘Battle of the Baggies’ takes over in what’s sure to be an unforgettable evening.

Hosted by Mary Rhodes and Adrian Chiles, the evening will see eight stars who used to wear the blue and white stripes pit their wits against one another, all in aid of The Albion Foundation.

Tony Brown, Ally Robertson, Don Goodman and Andy Johnson will take on Peter Odemwingie, Paul Robinson, Richard Sneekes and Bob Taylor in a sports panel quiz show.

The Club's record appearance holder and all-time top goalscorer, Tony 'Bomber' Brown will be looking to add another honour to his list - Battle of the Baggies Champion.

"It is wonderful supporting The Albion Foundation because of the connections with the Club and all of the fantastic work they do," he said.

"The Foundation staff work tremendously hard and it's a real privilege to help them in any way I can."

Going up against Tony will be another man with a keen eye for goal, 'Super Bob' Taylor.

"It's always a pleasure supporting The Albion Foundation," said Bob.

"If giving up my time enables the charity to raise funds to support their fantastic work within the community then that is briliant."

Taking place on Friday, May 3, doors will open at 7pm for an 8pm start and a scheduled 10pm finish.

A ticket for the evening costs £27.50 or £250 for a table of ten, with executive tables costing £350.

All tickets include a meal of pie and chips. An executive table includes a meet and greet with the Albion heroes.
