Your chance to pay tribute to Mozza

Albion fans are being invited to salute one of the Club’s most popular players when The Hawthorns stages its next Sky Bet Championship match against Reading on August 21.

The Albion News match day programme will be a “Mozza Special” - and we are asking supporters to add their voice to the tributes for the midfielder.

Mozza’s 12-year-stay at the Club came to a close this summer when he was released after 341 appearances and 39 goals following his arrival from Middlesbrough back in the close season of 2007.

He is currently assessing options but we know everyone connected with Albion will be wishing him well and following the next phase of his career closely.

James has scripted a special message to The Hawthorns faithful which will feature in the programme - and we thought all his admirers out there would love to reply with their own favourite memories of the Scottish international.

We’ll feature as many as possible in the match day programme - so get to work and send us your messages/tributes/favourite memories of a player who will pass into legend alongside the Baggies greats.

In order to include as many as possible, please keep your contributions to no more than 100 words. But don’t forget to include personal details - your name and perhaps your Hawthorns seat position from which you watched Mozza weave his magic.

Everyone who contributes will enter a draw to win copies of the programme signed by Mozza regardless of whether there has been room to print their comments.

So how to get your tributes to us?

Please don’t delay - we will need your salute to the player by the end of the week. Email enquiries@wbafc.co.uk and mark it “Mozza”.

Or go to our Twitter page @WBA and use the hashtag #thankyouMozza

Or write to us at “Mozza Tribute," The Hawthorns, West Bromwich, West Midlands, B71 4LF - remember we will need your contributions by Friday.

Remember it’s your opportunity to have your thoughts about one of our greats appear in a unique edition “Albion News”. We’re waiting to hear from you.
