Moore offers injury update

DARREN Moore will have the vast majority of his squad available for Wednesday’s trip to Swansea City - with Kyle Bartley and Bakary Sako edging nearer to returns.

Bartley continues his rehabilitation from a knee injury and has joined full training, while Sako could soon be back in contention for first-team action after missing Albion’s win at Ipswich with a “slight knock”.

And the Baggies boss hopes to have everyone available for the festive period.

““Barts” is back in training and back running, but we just feel that he’s not strong enough yet to be risked for this game,” said Moore.

“It’s pleasing to see him back around the place and back out on the grass, but he’s not ready for this game, and we’ll assess him for the upcoming games.

“The squad seems fine, fit and well other than Kyle, it’s good to have Bakary back in.

“Bakary is back up and running and I’ll look at him in training today and assess him. Hopefully he will get a clean bill of health.

“Bakary had a slight knock in training and it ruled him out of the Ipswich game. Kyle should be ready for the festive period and it’ll be good to have players of his and Bakary’s quality available.”
