ALBION can today confirm the first two fixtures of this summer’s pre-season schedule of friendlies in the build up to the 2018/19 season.
The Baggies will take on Vanarama National League outfit Barnet in what will be their first public outing of the pre-season programme at The Hive on Saturday, July 7 (ko 3pm).
The following weekend, on Saturday, July 14, Head Coach Darren Moore will take his squad to League Two Swindon Town for another 3pm friendly.
Tickets for the trip to the County Ground are priced £8 adults, £5 concessions and £2 under-11s. Further details will be confirmed in due course.
These games follow the players returning from their summer break slightly earlier than usual on June 25 before they depart to Portugal for a five-day fitness trip.
Albion are now finishing off the fine details of their programme following Darren’s appointment.
The Baggies Head Coach is hoping to stage a home friendly a week before the season begins and also work in a second group trip to focus on fitness work solely.
But there are no plans to take in any overseas fixtures.
