ALL the action from The Hawthorns as Albion continued their unlikely Premier League survival mission with a dramatic 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
The Baggies went into the game knowing that nothing less than three points would keep alive their hopes of top-flight survival.
It looked as though a battling point against Mauricio Pochettino's side would not be enough to secure safety. But, incredibly, Jake Livermore bundled the ball home deep into injury time to send The Hawthorns crowd, who had stayed with their team throughout, into raptures.
After Everton's last-gasp draw against Southampton on Saturday evening, Albion's Premier League status will remain at least until Tuesday, when Mark Hughes' side travel to fellow strugglers Swansea.
Darren Moore, having guided the club to impressive victories over Manchester United and Newcastle United and draws against Liverpool and Swansea City since taking charge, kept faith with an unchanged starting XI for his fifth match at the helm.
Spurs dominated possession in the opening quarter of the encounter although Ben Foster remained largely untroubled, tipping over from Victor Wanyama in the 24th minute.
Yet the Baggies keeper was called upon to make a superb save to deny Harry Kane on the half-hour mark, with the England striker heading wide from the resulting corner.
Albion enjoyed a spell of pressure just before the break, Jay Rodriguez seeing his effort headed over the crossbar and away to safety by Toby Alderweireld before Ahmed Hegazi nodded a Chris Brunt corner narrowly wide.
Salomon Rondon could not connect with Matt Phillips' low cross at the start of the second half.
Foster was on hand again to thwart Spurs either side of the hour mark, first blocking from Erik Lamela before then palming away Christian Eriksen's free-kick.
Hugo Lloris reacted quickly to tip over Kane's sliced clearance as Mooro turned to both Daniel Sturridge and Nacer Chadli off the bench as the encounter entered the latter stages.
The atmosphere built as Matt Phillips stood over a late, late corner. And, after a scramble in the Spurs area, the ball was bundled home by Livermore. With the goal timed at 92 minutes, there was no opportunity for the visitors to respond.
For now, the Baggies keep fighting.
