To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Albion’s famous Play-Off win over Port Vale at the original Wembley Stadium in 1993, we are making the full game available on DVD for the first time.
Along with footage from earlier in the season, including the incredible Swansea semi-final and film of the homecoming party after the final, the full game from Wembley Stadium will now be available on crystal clear DVD, so you can finally bin those ropey old VHS tapes that have been wearing thin this last quarter of a century.
The DVD comes as part of a package along with a 100 page, 40,000-word book, “Boing Boing! The Inside Story Of Albion’s Play-Off Winning Campaign 1992/93”.
The book covers the whole season, game by game, along with accompanying interviews with Ossie Ardiles, Keith Burkinshaw, Bob Taylor, Darren Bradley, Ian Hamilton, Kevin Donovan, Craig Shakespeare, Bernard McNally, Steve Lilwall, Paul Raven, Daryl Burgess, Micky Mellon, Simon Garner, Gary Hackett, Andy Hunt, Nicky Reid, Wayne Fereday and even Bobby Gould.
The book is also packed with plenty of photos from the 1992/93 campaign as well as all the stats from a diamond year in our history. And all of that for just £12.
We’re launching the book at the Swansea game on April 7th, when you will be able to buy copies from Albion News sellers all around the ground and in the club shop at The Hawthorns.
Or if you won’t be there and want to make sure of your copy - we only have 2,000 of them - then you can order now, here.
You know it makes sense.
