BUILDING up to the EFL fixture release day on Thursday, June 21, we’ll be taking a look at all of the Sky Bet Championship stadiums Darren Moore’s men will be visiting in the new season. First up alphabetically, Aston Villa…

Address: Villa Park, Trinity Road, Birmingham, B6 6HE. 

Their home since: 1897.

Previous stadiums: Wilson Road and Aston Park, also used Aston Lower Grounds for some matches (1874-1876); Wellington Road, Perry Barr (1876-1897).

Distance from The Hawthorns: 3.7 miles.

Parking: Aston Villa say that parking in local streets should be avoided, and suggest using an official car park instead. Official parking sites on the north side of the stadium include: Brookvale Road Car Park, Birmingham City University and Broadway School. Official parking sites on the south side of the stadium include: Powerleague, Star City (free parking), Aston Social Club, Aston Tower School and Kind Edward School.

Nearest train station(s): Witton (0.4 miles), Aston Station (0.7 miles).
