TWO goals from Cyrille Regis (pictured scoring against Brighton) plus another from Clive Whitehead saw the Baggies to a convincing 3-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at The Hawthorns.
Albion went on to do the double over the local rivals with a 2-1 win at Molineux later on in the campaign, Regis and Derek Monaghan doing the damage on that occasion.
Wolves were relegated at season’s end while Albion escaped the dreaded drop by two points.
