Macedonia international Artim Sakiri – “the Beckham of the Balkans” – made his first ever appearance for the Baggies.
The midfielder scored a sensational goal from 30 yards against Burnley in the 4-1 victory at The Hawthorns, the undoubted high spot of an otherwise troubled time with the club.
Rob Hulse scored twice and Lee Hughes got the other one on the day.
