THE Albion Foundation marked a year of successful charity work by celebrating Foundation Day at The Hawthorns on Saturday.

Take a look at the picture gallery to see how the day unfolded.

Some of the activities arranged as part of Foundation Day included:

- A Fan-Zone takeover.
- A matchday to remember for pan-disability juniors.
- A lap of honour for league winners WBA Blind.
- A lap of honour for the Baggies Bike Challenge cyclists.
- Marquee stalls including health checks and activity opportunities.
- Stalls for Apna Albion, Proud Baggies and Polish Baggies.
- Foundation talent and local talent on Fan-Zone stage.
- A special 12-page supplement in the matchday programme.
- Players, mascots and flag bearers wearing Level Playing Field t-shirts.

The lead up to the matchday had been just as action-packed for the Foundation, with the Baggies Bike Challenge group cycling back to The Hawthorns from Swansea City's Liberty Stadium for the match.

The committed group of fundraisers, including 'Super Bob' Taylor and Brendon Batson were welcomed home after completing the Baggies Bike Challenge and were joined by Albion's blind team, WBA Blind to partake in a lap of honour of The Hawthorns at half-time.

It was a day that will live long in the memory of six pan-disability junior players that the Foundation work with.

The youngsters experienced a training ground tour, a stretch limo ride to the stadium, a mini ground tour, the chance to meet the players, followed by watching the game and the opportunity to play on the pitch at half-time.
