JONNY Evans insists Albion should have held on to win Saturday’s Premier League game with Watford.
The Baggies took a one goal advantage into added time at The Hawthorns - but Hornets winger Richarlison headed a dramatic equaliser to make it 2-2.
And the Baggies skipper says it was a difficult blow to take.
“It was virtually the last kick of the ball, I think we had two touches after the kick-off,” said Evans.
“It’s not nice to concede like that, it’s a hard one to take, we got one ourselves last year at West Ham.
“Going two goals up and it’s not like us to relinquish a lead like that.
“We were 2-0 up and we should have held on from there.
“When we’re all back in after the international break we will all have a look at this game and decide where we can improve.”
