1 September 2017

JAKE Livermore completed 90 minutes for England as they beat Malta 4-0 at the Ta’ Qali National Stadium.

The result means that the Three Lions stay top of European World Cup Qualifying Group F with 17 points from 7 games.

Elsewhere in Group F Matt Phillips played a full game and James Morrison was an unused substitute for Scotland in their comfortable 3-0 win over Lithuania.

The result means that Gordon Strachan’s team are still in with a chance of sneaking into a play-off place as they sit four points behind second-placed Slovakia with three games to go.

Meanwhile over in Group C Jonny Evans and Chris Brunt both played the full 90 minutes as Northern Ireland recorded a 3-0 victory over San Marino.

The Green and White Army are sitting second in the table, seven points clear of third-placed Czech Republic and five points behind group leaders Germany.
