Chris Gordon and Marcus Harrison to represent England
ALTHOUGH the season may be drawing to a close, two of West Bromwich Albion’s powerchair footballers will have a summer to remember.
Chris Gordon and Marcus Harrison have been called up to the England squad for July's Powerchair Football World Cup in Florida. And the duo’s inclusion means the Baggies are the club with the greatest representation in the national squad.
Taking part in their third Powerchair Football World Cup, England will be hoping to go one better than their last tournament which saw them beaten by USA in the Final.
Drawn in ‘Group B’, England’s first game will be against Ireland before a clash with Australia awaits later that same day.
