LOAN WATCH: Mixed week for Roberts

Six other Baggies in action

SEBASTIEN Pocognoli was brought off injured after just 18 minutes of Brighton and Hove Albion's 2-1 defeat at home to Newcastle United in the Sky Bet Championship last Tuesday. The Belgian was then absent for the Seagull's 3-0 loss at Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

Callum McManaman played the final 15 minutes of Sheffield Wednesday's 5-1 victory over Norwich City. The Owls occupy the final Championship playoff position with ten games remaining.

It was a mixed week for Tyler Roberts and Shrewsbury Town in League One. The Baggies loanee grabbed a goal and an assist in the Shrews' 4-3 win over Charlton in midweek but then missed a penalty in the 0-0 draw with Coventry City on Saturday.

Shaun Donnellan's Dagenham and Redbridge side lost ground in the Vanarama National League promotion race after two defeats in a week. The centre-half played the full 90 minutes in both games as the Daggers slipped down to fourth.

There were also defeats for Alex Palmer and Kidderminster Harriers in the National League North. The Baggies stopper couldn't prevent narrow defeats to both Brackley and FC United of Manchester.

Ethan Ross and Chay Tilt, meanwhile, featured in Worcester City's dramatic 2-2 draw with Darlington 1883.
