Rodriguez discusses Albion move

JAY Rodriguez is ready to become another of Albion's growing number of flexible footballers after signing for the Club on a four-year deal.

In his first video interview since completing his transfer from Southampton, Rodriguez makes it clear he is ready to take on whatever role Head Coach Tony Pulis asks of him.

The former Saints man made his England breakthrough as a central striker but has also prospered out wide.

He tells WBA TV: "I want to be on the pitch, helping the team and wherever that may be I'm happy to do it. As long as I'm working hard and improving on each game.

"I want to score goals and create chances and help the team in that way."

And after a frustrating final season with his former club, Rodriguez tells us regular football will be "massive for me."

He adds: "As a player, you know it's a short career and you want to maximise every game you play. You want to be the player you can become.

"Albion fans will see a player who gives it everything, whether in training or games, trying to maximise everything I can do."
