MAIN BRANCH

Apologies for the lack of activity regarding the Main branch this season.

Activities have been on hold due to bereavement and illness involving Committee members and an internal review of housekeeping.

However, we hope to have an end-of-season dinner and we will be contacting all members past and present from the 2015-16 season in due course regarding the situation for the remainder of this campaign and next.

Any queries please contact Alan Cleverley on 0121 551 6439.

Grateful thanks for your patience.

John Homer, Chairman

KIDDERMINSTER BRANCH

The next meeting will take place on THURSDAY, February 2 at 8pm. The venue is Kidderminster Cricket Club, Chester Road North.

The special guest will be Albion legend Brendon Batson.

Membership of the Supporters' Club can be obtained at this meeting, where a bar and free buffet are available.

West Bromwich Albion Supporters' Club Kidderminster Branch can now be found on Facebook.

SUTTON BRANCH

The next meeting will take place on TUESDAY, February 28 at 8pm. The venue is the Plough & Harrow, Slade Road, Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield.

The special guests will be Vernon Hodgson and Cyrille Regis.

If any of you saw the recent Adrian Chiles documentary about the Len Cantello testimonial match you will know the name Vernon Hodgson.

He was a 19-year-old Albion trialist who played in that team. Sadly his career was cut short by a knee injury and he's spent the past 30 years working as a bin man.

Those who have met him say he is a source of endless entertaining anecdotes about those times and his life since.

Cyrille is also hoping to join us that night so I hope we'll get a good turnout for them both.
