Shan wants PL Cup progression

Baggies begin second batch of group games on Tuesday

ALBION's Premier League 2 boss James Shan wants his side to give themselves the best possible chance of qualifying for the knockout stages of the PL Cup with victory over Huddersfield Town at Aggborough on Tuesday (ko 7pm).

The Baggies currently have four points from their opening three group games after victory over Huddersfield, defeat to Ipswich Town and then a draw at Liverpool.

And Shan wants his side to kick-off their next batch of group games with victory at Kidderminster.

"We had a good performance and result against Huddersfield in the reverse fixture.

"They play a slightly unusual formation so I can imagine they'll be trying to cause us problems.

"We think if we get a result on Tuesday and then another against Ipswich in a few weeks time we'll have a good chance of going through.

"That's our aim and that's what we'll be trying to do."

Tickets for the cup clash are £5 adults, £1 concessions with free entry for season-ticket holders.
