Stoke 2 Albion 1

Baggies beaten at Bet365 Stadium

ALBION's Premier League 2 side were beaten 2-1 by Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium on Monday afternoon.

James Shan's side found themselves a goal down within three minutes after Dom Telford rifled home from a full 20 yards.

But the Baggies rallied and Alex Bradley was on hand to equalise in the 30th minute.

The game was even at the break with Albion seeing more of the ball in the early stages of the second period.

But it was the hosts who regained the advantage just past the hour mark when Harry Souttar finished off a neat move.

The Baggies were unable to find an equaliser and left the Potteries empty handed.

ALBION: Rose, K Wilson, O'Shea, McCourt, Melbourne, Harper, Field, Edwards (Soleman 72), Leko, Bradley (Clayton-Phillips 63), Morton (Pierce 54).

Subs: Keranovic, Chambers.
