Under-18s record comfortable 2-0 win over Sunderland

Two goals in three minutes enough for youngsters

TWO goals in three second-half minutes were enough to secure a 2-0 victory for Albion’s Under-18 side over Sunderland on Saturday morning.

Centre-back Panagiotis Artymatas opened the scoring in the 59th minute after meeting Max Melbourne’s set-piece delivery.

And just moments later Rayhaan Tulloch doubled the Baggies’ lead, slotting home from eight yards following impressive work from both Marcus Forss and Taylor Morrison.

The game could have been very different and Albion had goalkeeper Brad House to thank for that, diving down low to his right to save a Black Cats penalty in the 10th minute.

Jamie Smith’s side travel to local rivals Wolves next Saturday.

ALBION: House, Meredith, Artymatas, Wilding, Melbourne, Nabi, Dool, Tulloch (Walker 88), Bradley, Morrison (McCourt 82), Forss.

Unused subs: Biddle, Holsgrove, Harmon.
