McClean to miss Foxes clash

31 October 2016

Yacob returns from one-match ban at King Power Stadium

JAMES McClean will miss Sunday's Premier League encounter against champions Leicester City through suspension.

The midfielder picked up his fifth booking of the season shortly before the hour mark in Saturday's 4-0 defeat to Manchester City.

It follows his yellow cards against Northampton Town, Sunderland, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool earlier this term.

McClean now serves an immediate one-match ban against the Foxes at the King Power Stadium (ko 4.30pm).

However, Albion are boosted by the return of fellow midfielder Claudio Yacob after he served a one-match suspension of his own against Pep Guardiola's City at The Hawthorns.

Elsewhere, right-back Craig Dawson is on four bookings and one caution away from bringing an end to a run which currently stands at 55 consecutive league starts for the club.
