Teenager made his Baggies bow on final day
SAM Field has been called up to England’s Under-18 squad for their two-match tour of South Korea in June.
The 18-year-old, who made his Barclays Premier League debut as a substitute in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool, will join Neil Dewsnip’s squad for the first time.
Field scooped Albion's 2015/16 Academy Player of the Season award and his international call-up is another proud moment for the club, with fellow teenage graduates Jonathan Leko and Tyler Roberts also breaking into the Baggies first-team over the closing matches of the campaign.
The Young Lions will twice take on South Korea at the Icheon City Stadium on Friday, June 3 and Sunday, June 5.
