FANZONE: Can you beat The Beast?

Hawthorns Fanzone opens from midday on Sunday

CAN you beat The Beast?

Albion fans get the chance to answer that question when popular former keeper Brian Jensen returns between the posts in a special penalty shoot-out competition at The Fanzone on Sunday.

The appearance of Jensen, nicknamed The Beast by Baggies fans during a three-year Hawthorns stay at the start of the new Millennium, is just one element of an action-packed final Fanzone of the season.

Sponsored by freebets.com, the supporters’ park next to the stadium has been a big hit this year and Sunday’s finale, ahead of our home clash against Liverpool, is the biggest and best yet.

Jensen’s beat-the-keeper challenge, courtesy of freebets.com, will run throughout the pre-match activities and there’s so much more.

The sponsors are also offering the chance for fans to win two free season tickets simply by registering online or on the day.

There’s a free funfair with adult and children rides and of course we’ve got live music - from not just one but two bands.

The popular ska outfit, AKA Skaface, have already gone down a storm and return to get the Fanzone jumping once more. And when they take a break, Jamma Steel Pans will keep the party atmosphere going.

The giant screen will bring you live League One play-off semi-final action between Bradford City and Millwall and we’ve got all the usual food and licensed drink outlets on site.

It promises to be the best and biggest Fanzone party we’ve staged this season and it all gets underway from midday.
