EXCLUSIVE: Pulis on Albion's start to season

Baggies boss getting ready for the start of new campaign

TONY Pulis relishes the excitement of "fixtures day" but warns the schedule of games makes little difference to the Premier League challenge.

The Baggies head coach is currently finishing his summer break with a working holiday at the European Championships.

But with the players due back on July 4 and the fixtures now being eagerly scrutinised by Baggies fans, Pulis admits anticipation is beginning to build.

"It's always exciting going into a new season and the announcement of the fixtures is one of those days everyone enjoys.

"But it doesn't really matter how the games roll out for you - this is the Premier League and every game is as tough as the one before and the one after.

"Everything we do in pre-season will be geared to making sure we are as ready as we can be for that first match."
