Chester's Wales progress into knockout stages

Chester has played 90 mins in all three group games

CONGRATULATIONS to Albion defender James Chester having helped Wales secure qualification for the knockout stages of Euro 2016.

The Baggies man played his part in keeping a clean sheet in Monday night's emphatic 3-0 victory over Russia to clinch top spot in Group B ahead of second-placed England.

Chester completed 90 minutes in Toulouse, having previously done the same against England and Slovakia in their previous group matches.

Wales now play their last-16 tie in Paris on Saturday (5pm ko) but must wait to find out their opponents.

It represents an historic achievement for Chris Coleman's side, who are playing in their first major tournament since 1958.

Good luck James!
