Young Baggies goalkeeper joins Worcester on loan

Stopper to gain valuable experience with City

ALBION youngster Ethan Ross has rejoined Worcester City on a six-month loan deal.

The 19-year-old, who spent the majority of the 2015/16 campaign with the National League North outfit, will remain with them until Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

There is no recall option included in the agreement.

Ross is understandably excited to continue his development and sees the temporary switch as the next step on the ladder.

He said: “I’m happy to be going to get regular first-team football.

“Hopefully I can get a good six months under my belt during my time there.

“If I can nail down the number one position at Worcester then that will benefit me in the long run.

“I know the club quite well after being there for a long period last season.

“They are playing at new ground this year, Bromsgrove’s Victoria Ground, and there are a few new faces but I know the surroundings and the backroom staff so it should be easy for me to settle.

“It’s important for me to get out on loan again and experience senior football, it’s the next step for me on the ladder and it’s a challenge I am really looking forward to taking on.”

We would like wish Ethan all the best during his time at Worcester City.
