Olsson offers thoughts on Manchester United loss

Baggies beaten after two Ibrahimovic goals

JONAS Olsson was disappointed to see Albion surrender their winning streak at The Hawthorns at the hands of Manchester United.

The Baggies went down 2-0 to the Red Devils on Saturday evening with Zlatan Ibrahimovic scoring early on in each half.

The Swedish defender, who was making his 200th Premier League appearance, said it was difficult to try and get back into the game after conceding such an early goal.

“We came into the game with full confidence,” admitted Olsson.

“We conceded a goal very early on after just five minutes.

“It’s then hard to chase against a team like Manchester United who are very good when they get space.

“Of course we are disappointed because we have been doing so well at home and had won the last three at The Hawthorns.

“We battled it out in the first half and then again in the second half but they hit us early in the second period.”

He added: “I have played with Zlatan plenty of times for Sweden but never against him.

“He is a world class player and it is tough.

“He scored two good goals.”
