And forward praises Berahino assist
VICTOR Anichebe believes tonight's 1-1 draw against Barclays Premier League leaders Chelsea could be a turning point in Albion's season.
The 6ft3in striker came off the bench to net a late equaliser as the Baggies fought back from a goal behind to earn a point at The Hawthorns.
The stalemate sees the Baggies climb out of the relegation zone on goal-difference ahead of tomorrow's fixtures.
And Anichebe says picking up a positive result against the in-form Blues, who had not conceded in over six of top-flight football, is testament to the side's character.
“I was happy to get the goal," he said.
“It didn’t matter who scored it, it was just important we got a result.
"It was a great ball by Saido.
"I managed to get in front of the defender and it went it.
"I have to pay credit to Saido though.
"Everyone dug in today and we showed what a good team we are.
"We pressed Chelsea all game and we attacked them too.
"We took the game to them.
"A draw is a good result but we could have nicked it as well.
"A point against a team who are going for the Premier League and the Champions League is a good point.
"We'll take a lot from that and take it into our next game.
"It is a big moment in the season.
"Every game is a big one when you're in this position."
