Albion youngsters stung by three late goals

Cater and Roberts goals in vain

ALBION Under-18s were stunned by three goals in three second-half minutes as they fell to a 4-2 defeat at West Ham United on Saturday.

George Cater put The Baggies in front from a set piece in just the third minute, and Aaron Danks’ men went on to control the rest of the first-half but failed to add to their lead.

West Ham grabbed an equaliser with just 19 minutes remaining, but Tyler Roberts restored Albion’s advantage in the 81st minute with a good finish after clever work down the left from Cater.

But in an astonishing turn of events, The Hammers struck three times in as many minutes to snatch victory away from the visitors.
