Lescott and Brunt set for comebacks

Plus update on Ideye, Morrison and McAuley

JOLEON Lescott (tight calf) and Chris Brunt (groin) will make their comebacks from injury in tomorrow’s pre-season trip to Nottingham Forest (ko 1.30pm).

Lescott has been sidelined since the behind-closed-doors 2-0 friendly win over Bury on July 12, while skipper Brunt has yet to see pre-season action - but both players have returned to full training this week.

Victor Anichebe has been struggling with illness but is hopeful of playing a part against Forest.

Brown Ideye will play no part in the City Ground clash as he remains in Nigeria waiting receipt of his visa.

Stephane Sessegnon will also miss out again due to his involvement with Benin in their African Nations Cup qualifier with Malawi the same day.

The forward will return to The Hawthorns early next week.

James Morrison (knee) and Gareth McAuley (tight calf) will again not be involved.
