Young defender makes Championship move for first time
DONERVORN Daniels will tomorrow join Championship outfit Blackpool on a 28-day youth loan.
He will go straight into the Tangerines’ squad for their home pre-season friendly against Barclays Premier League side Burnley the same day.
It will also be the first time the 20-year-old centre-half, who in May signed a new one-year Baggies deal, plus a further year's option in the club's favour, has played at Championship level.
He is set to face league games against Nottingham Forest, Blackburn, Brentford and Wigan, but will play no part in Blackpool’s Capital One Cup first-round clash at Shrewsbury.
The Albion Academy product enjoyed a three-month loan spell at League One Tranmere in the 2012/13 season – netting one goal during his 12-game stay.
He also had a three-match spell in the same division at Gillingham in November last term.
