CHRIS Brunt is determined to add to the good times he has already enjoyed with Albion after signing a new three-year contract at The Hawthorns.
The Baggies skipper today put pen to paper on a new deal with the club which ties him down until 2017.
Brunt joined in the summer of 2007 and his next competitive appearance will be his 250th in all competitions for Albion.
The midfielder, 29, took over the captain’s armband during the 2010/11 campaign and has kept hold of it under Roy Hodgson, Steve Clarke, Pepe Mel and now Alan Irvine.
Reflecting on his years at the club to date, Brunt said: “Obviously we’ve had some really good times and we’ve also had a couple of bad ones.
“But 99% of my time here has been really good, I’ve enjoyed it, we’ve had some really good results, great seasons.
“I’m just looking to build on that and hopefully keep us in the Premier League for the remainder of the contract that I’ve got.
“That’s got to be my goal personally, to help the team achieve that.”
