'Mr Albion' book launch at main branch meeting

The members of WBASC wish to convey their condolences to the family and friends of the late Mick Hodgetts. 

He was a wonderful, funny man and a true Throstle.

MAIN BRANCH

The next meeting of the main branch in on Thursday, November 14 (7.30pm) in the East Stand when football journalist David Instone and Alison Matthews will be on hand to discuss 'MR ALBION' -  the story of Albion's late kitman, Dave Matthews. 

Much of the book is written in Dave's own words as he reminisces on a Hawthorns career spanning over 50 years. Dave's daughter, Alison, will be in attendance to tell some tales about her Dad, who was a lovely, funny man and an Albion stalwart. 

Members only but new members can join on the night. Non-members can pay a small admission fee. Bar available.
 
KIDDERMINSTER BRANCH

The next meeting of the Kidderminster Branch will be held at Kidderminster Cricket Club on Monday, November 4 (8pm). 

Guests include Ally Robertson and speedy Nicky Cross who will share tales of their experiences at The Hawthorns from the '70s and '80s. 

Free buffett and a bar available. 

Members only but non-members can join on the night.
 
SUTTON COLDFIELD BRANCH

The next meeting of the Sutton Coldfield Branch will be Thursday, November 7 at the Royal Hotel, High Street, Sutton Coldfield (8pm).

Tiptonian Joe Mayo joins Ally Robertson on his nationwide tour for an evening of fun and frolics and all things Albion.

Free buffett and a bar available.
