James Morrison got 90 minutes under his belt and Graham Dorrans came on as a 77th-minute substitute as Scotland completed the double over Croatia with a 2-0 win that saw them leapfrog Wales to finish fourth in World Cup European qualifying group A.

Boaz Myhill was an unused substitute for fifth-placed Wales in their 1-1 draw with group winners Belgium in Brussels.

Gareth McAuley was suspended for Northern Ireland’s 1-1 draw with Israel in Tel Aviv, while Chris Brunt came on as a 24th-minute substitute in the Group F encounter.

Shane Long was an unused substitute in Republic of Ireland’s 3-1 Group C clash with Kazakhstan in Dublin.

In the same group Jonas Olsson was not involved with Sweden due to personal reasons as they lost 5-3 to Germany.

The Baggies defender is now looking forward to next month’s World Cup qualification play-offs.

As one of the seeded teams they will face either France, Ukraine, Iceland or Romania, with the draw to take place at 1pm on Monday.

Saido Berahino's sensational form continues for club and country.

The Baggies striker last night made it four goals in three starts for England Under-21s as he fired a double - including a penalty - in a 5-0 win over Lithuania, in a European Championship qualifier at Ipswich's Portman Road.
