LOAN WATCH: Dawson can't stop scoring

See how Albion's other players fared on duty elsewhere

CRAIG Dawson was again the hero for Bolton as he fired the winner in a seven-goal thriller at Barnsley on Saturday.

Wanderers were twice pegged back before the on-loan Baggies defender netted his fourth goal in three games.

It was his second winner in four days after scoring the only goal in the 1-0 midweek victory over Peterborough.

Dawson remains unbeaten in his six games for the Trotters, who are now tenth in the Championship and just seven points off the play-off places with 11 matches remaining.

Gonzalo Jara Reyes played the whole game for eighth-placed Nottingham Forest as they won 1-0 at Sheffield Wednesday to stay four points off the play-offs.

In League One, Bradley Garmston helped Colchester move up to 19th and two points above the relegation zone as he played 90 minutes in their 2-0 win at Stevenage.

He also got 78 minutes under his belt in the U’s 2-0 midweek victory over Yeovil.

Donervorn Daniels came on as a 26th-minute substitute in sixth-placed Tranmere’s 1-1 draw with Notts County on Tuesday before being an unused sub in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Yeovil.

Cameron Gayle played all of Shrewsbury’s 2-1 defeat by Doncaster on Tuesday and their 3-1 reverse at Walsall on Saturday.

Yassine El Ghanassy did not figure in Heerenveen’s 2-1 Dutch Eredivisie win over NAC Brada at the weekend.
