Baggies defender helps Sweden to win in warm-up for World Cup qualifiers
JONAS Olsson helped Sweden keep a clean sheet as they last night beat Macedonia 1-0 in a friendly.The Baggies centre-half played 88 minutes in the Swedbank Stadion clash with Fulham’s Alexander Kačaniklić scoring the winner for the hosts six minutes before half-time.
It was a timely boost for the Swedes as they warmed up for their World Cup qualification double against Austria in Vienna on Friday and the Faroe Islands in Solna four days later.
